A large sliding canvas screen can be drawn across the main space, effectively sealing the master bed area from the living space. The apartment was designed to adapt easily to forthcoming developments in entertainment technology. A compartment has been let into the suspended ceiling in order to take a television projection unit, which will display on the large 5m x 3m sliding screen. In the master bed area a space has been designated for a flat screen television, enabling new technology to be seamlessly integrated into the apartment with minimum disruption.
